My name is Alex Zubizarreta and I have been working in the online and retail gambling industry for more than 20 years.

Throughout my career I have been involved in multiple areas of the business, including trading, product development, marketing and innovation, gaining a comprehensive understanding of how the industry operates both from a strategic and operational perspective.

During the last seven years as Country Manager, I was responsible for the full operation of the Spanish market, managing all aspects of the business locally. This included the creation of the Spanish entity, regulatory compliance, office setup, recruitment and team management, relationships with banks and payment providers, coordination with legal advisors, tax authorities and the Spanish gambling regulator (DGOJ), as well as the day-to-day management of the business performance.

This website is a personal space where I occasionally share thoughts, research and perspectives on the gambling industry, the Spanish market and digital business.
